Cowon Q5W PMP Announced

Cowon is now shipping its latest PMP device called the Q5W. The PMP has a 5-inch screen and features Bluetooth and GPS. The device is powered by a 600MHz AMD Alchemy Au1250 processor.

The C5W runs on Windows CE 5.0 and uses touchscreen input. WiFi is integrated for web browsing, email and IM chatting. Storage capacities include 40GB and 60GB both with 128MB of RAM.

Screen resolution is 800 x 480 and a remote control and FM tuner are included. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations are viewable on the device. Audio formats supported include MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG, WAV, FLAC, APE, and MPC. Video formats include MPEG 1/2/2.5, WMA, and more. The 40GB version will sell for $550 and the 60 GB version will sell for $600. The GPS pack is optional for another $200.
