Archos PMP with 3G Sim Card Coming

archos605wifi.jpgReports are coming in from Europe that Archos is getting ready to introduce a new PMP for the European market. There is no word on a launch date for the device other than in 2008 and no comments as to availability in the US has been made.

The 3G Sim card would allow the PMP to browse the internet wirelessly from areas with service. Archos is reportedly looking to UK mobile provider Orange as a partner.

Other European wireless service providers are said to be interested as well. This may be one of those devices that we never see here in the US. Judging from Archos feature set on its typical PMP devices, this one would play video and music as well.
