Shenzhen Smart Rips Sony Design

shenzhen-smart.jpgIt really seems like the Chinese and Japanese companies have no shame when it comes to ripping off popular designs. Shenzhen has a new PMP called the Smart that as PMPToday points out has buttons that could have been cut directly from the Sony Ericsson W810 and pasted onto the Smart.

That doesn’t particularly strike me as a smart move, pun intended. Anyway, the PMP has lots of file compatibility including MPEG-1, MPEG-4, WMV, ASF, MOV, and AVI videos as well as MP3 and WMA audio.

The screen is a 2-inch TFT and a FM tuner and speaker are built-in. Storage capacities include 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB. No word on pricing or availability is available at this time.
