New Microsoft Zune Players Launched


new-zune-players-zune-pad.jpgMicrosoft has launched its new line of Zune PMP devices with a thinner hard drive based model and a pair of new flash storage based models. The hard drive version has 80GB of storage and the flash-based version is available with 4GB or 8GB of storage.

All the new Zune devices have WiFi and now allow for wireless sync of playlists. You can send songs to other Zune players of your friends and they can listen to the track for three times for free. All versions support video playback.

The 80GB version will sell for $249.99 and has a 3.2-inch screen, the 4GB flash version sells for $149.99 and the 8GB flash version sells for $199.99. The 80GB and the two flash based Zune's device also feature an FM tuner, something iPod's don't have.
