Chinese Company Knocks Off Archos PMP


mp4_player_v503_.jpgA Chinese company called Nanjing Panda is selling a PMP that looks a lot like the Archos AV420 called the V503 PMP. The device plays multiple audio and video files including MPEG-1, MPEG-4, DivX4.x, DivX5.xm AVI and DAT.

Other supported file types include WMA, MP3, JPEG, and TXT files. The LCD is a 2.4-inch TFT. Memory expansion is via SD cards.

Sync and charge is done via USB, and storage internal is to a 1.8-inch HDD. The device has an FM tuner and a line out. No word on pricing or availability is available at this time.
