TMS V888 PMP Has Game

Thomson (TMS) has a interesting new PMP that has sliding control panel underneath the screen. The device has what looks like the original Nintendo controller from my youth and can actually play some games. The screen is a large 4” TFT with 16 million colors.

In addition to playing some games the device plays MP3, WMA, WAV, and FLAC lossless audio formats. It can also show photos in PEG, BMP, PNG, TIFF, and GIF formats. Oddly missing from the specs is JPEG compatibility.

Video formats supported include MPEG, MPEG4, Divx, Xvid, MOV, WMV, AVI, ASF.VOB, and H.263. The device also will display PDF, html, and TXT files. The price is right at $132. It appears you can get white or black colors, the black looks way better to me.
