Thompson's 3" LCD PMP Makes Bold Claims

thomson-a1-thumb.jpgAnother week, another claim of world’s smallest from a PMP manufacturer. This week Thompson is claiming that they have the world’s smallest PMP with a 3” screen. The device measures in at 82 x 50.9 x 13mm and weighs 87g.

The 3” screen is a 16:9 TFT and the device can play AVI (24fps), MP3, WMA and WAV audio. Compatible image formats include JPG and BMP.

Two different amounts of flash based storage will be offered in the PMP, a 4GB version at about $112 and an 8GB version at around $126. That’s not much of a price increase for double the storage. Via Tech Digest
