X-Micro Launches X-VDO MP4 F510

Last week X-Micro launched a new PMP that plays video and lots more. The display on the F510 is a 1.8” TFT and the device can playback video files and MP3 as well as Wma audio files.

There are four different flash based storage capacities available including 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB. The resolution of the display is 128 x 160 pixels. Voice recording can be done as well with ADPMC encoding, 8 KHz to 22KHz sampling and each 128MB of storage space gives about eight hours at 8 KHz.

A built-in FM tuner with 20 presets is also included and you can record FM radio. Power is via a 530mAh Li-Polymer battery. Supported operating systems are Windows ME, 2000, XP, and Vista. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time.
