Shearer V2000 PMP Looks Cool

shearer-v2000-fr.jpgShearer has a new PMP called the V2000 that is powered by an ADI BF533 processor. Yeah, I have heard of neither the PMP company nor the processor maker either. The exterior of the device is a slick looking brushed black metal and the screen is a largish 3” model sporting 16 million colors.

Video formats supported are RM/RMVB and AVI, updating the firmware also adds DAT and MPEG compatibility. On the music front the device plays MP3, WMA, APE, and FLAC.

Photos formats supported are JPG, BMP, and GIF. A built-in FM turner is included as well as the ability to get LRC lyrics and text to speech. The company is a Chinese brand, so no word on if it will hit the states; if it did the price would be in the area of $1096 for the 2GB model. Via PMP Today
