SanDisk's First Widescreen PVP


SanDisk proudly presented its first widescreen portable media player called the Sansa View at the CES.  The 4-inch widescreen player displays videos and 16 megapixel photos, plays music, slideshow and totes an integrated speaker so that you can watch and listen to music or videos.

This swift little player measures 78.5mm x 123mm x 16.9mm and is 0.66 inches thick and works with Windows Media Player 10 or 11; compatible with most download and music subscription services like Rhapsody, MTV Urge and Yahoo! Music; provides up to four hours of continuous video playback and 10 hours of continuous audio playback; an optional 8GB internal flash memory; SD memory expansion slot, and a user-replaceable Li-Polymer battery.


The Sansa View will be available the first quarter of 2007 and is expected to retail for $299 MSRP, the 8GB Sansa View is expected to be available from retailers in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2007, with Canada and Europe to follow in the second quarter.
