Sanyo Unveils The NV-SD10DT GPS

Sanyo is flexing its muscle in the GPS gaming world.  Hailed as “Mini-Gorillas,”  The NV-SD10DT and NV-M10 are both cloaked with a 4.5” 400 x 234 resolution touchscreen, 1GB SD card full of maps and POIs, 1-watt built-in speaker, and an annoying Echo Drive II system that apparently warns the driver of quick acceleration and idling in rush- hour traffic.

The sweet feature on the NV-SD10DT is the built-in terrestrial TV tuner, turning the GPS unit into a portable television instantly, so you can entertain yourself while waiting to get your teeth cleaned by your dentist.

The NV-M10 Costs ¥78,750 or $669, while the tuner-packed NV-SD10DT digs a little deeper in your pocket for ¥91,350 or $776.  Both units are open for grabs in Japan later this month.
