UK Won't See The Zune Until 2008

It seems like there are a lot of PMPs that get released for markets outside the US. Well now the cards have turned, while the Zune is on its way to the US, the UK won't see it until 2008.

"They will be working on rolling out the Zune in the UK and Europe with its compatible Zune Market place,” said Dene Schonknecht, media and entertainment alliance manager at Microsoft. “We haven’t yet selected a music store provider to build marketplace in the UK, which means we’re way off launch.”


This also after the fairly recent news of the PS3 shortage will leave the poor brits left out in the cold this holiday season.
