Toshiba DVD and Portable Media Player Hybrid
Toshiba reccently showed off their new video player at CEATEC in Japan which is an attractive mix between a DVD player and PMP. The player supports DivX video codec and 1seg digital TV. In case you're wondering, 1seg is an HD mobile digital video broadcasting service in japan that was officially launched in April of last year, and uses the H.264 video codec. While there are still a lot of questions about this new unit one fact that took many by surprise was the lack of a widescreen. Also sorry to all my non-japanese readers, this one is for Japan only.
