The New Ramos RM400
At first glance the new Ramos RM400 looks like a stylish high performance player; however, looks can be deceiving. While the player supports the major formats of MPEG 4 and AVI the screen that displays them is only 2.2" with a 320x240 pixel resolution which seems just a little too small for prolonged viewing. But wait it gets worse there is only 512MB of internal memory so just shy of enough space to fit a high quality full length movie. While this player certainly has nothing on the iPod or some of the more advanced PMPs the good news is that the price is very reasonable at about $50. While global releases aren't known yet it is expected to hit shelves in China this week
