The New JXD628 All in One PMP

The Chinese company JXD has come out with one of the most versatile PMPs yet. The 1GB JXD628 sports a 3" LCD video in and out and your standard features of calculator, calendar, and even a electronic dictionary.

Now while some PMPs only allow you to create slideshows with pictures from other sources the JXD628 resolves that problem with a built in 2 megapixel camera. Another interesting feature is the rumor of some sort of video game functionality.

The downside is memory, this player only has a internal hard drive of 1GB and while there is an SD slot you still can't hold to much video at once. As far as file support the JXD628 offers DizX, XviD and ASF for video, MP3, WMA, and WAV for music, and just the simple JPEG for slideshows. Also another downside is only 4-5 hours of battery life. So it looks to me like maybe they are trying to pack too much into one unit to cheaply. I think a better hard drive could make this PMP one of the best.
