22Moo Unveils HMD800 Head Mounted Display

Ok, we’ve all heard the criticism of PMPs and how a 2.5-3” screen is rather small to fully enjoy the quality of a movie or TV show. But what if there were a way to watch your PMP files without lugging a 30” TV around with you as well.

Well thanks to 22Moo this problem is no more with their new HMD800 head mounted display. The HMD800 provides a "30-inch virtual theater-like image with clear and exquisite pictures." The contraption also boasts a "2.1 Dolby surround sound experience," and compatibility with iPods, PMPs, gaming consoles, and practically anything with standard AV outputs.


The device supports both NTSC and PAL, sports an 800 x 225 resolution, contrast / brightness controls and a battery life of eight-hours.
