Neosol CLIOD DMB TV Portable Media Player

It looks like most new portable media player hitting the market in Korea feature now digital DMB TV receivers.

The Neosol CLIOD 3550 is no exception. The compact 30GB/20GB PMP features a T-DMB Tuner and a 160,000 color TFT-LCD screen.
Supported file formats are MPEG1/2/4, ASF, AVI(Divx, XviD)and WMV9.

Suggested price is 398,000 KRW (~$410) for 20GB and 438,000KRW (~$451) for 30GB. The company is releasing the CLIOD 3550 in March.

JNC SSF-M805 and SSF-M810 PMP with 2 inch Display

JNC has another interesting portable media player on the start. DAPReview found out that the company OEMed this player from Cenix. JNC branded the Cenix GMP-M6 as SSF-M805 (512MB) and SSF-M810 (1GB).

JNC has good hand selecting and OEMing good mp3 players. They have for instance the MobiBlu DAH-1500 cube mp3 player.
The JNC SSF-M800 series features a portable game console styling. It actually is supposedly supporting downloadable games. Other features include 2 inch LCD Scree (220x176px), USB 2.0, FM Tuner, built-in speaker and photo viewer. Supported vidoe formats are: WMV, DivX, AVI and MP4. On the audio side the JNC SSF-M800 supports MP3, WMA and Ogg.
The JNC SSF-M800 measures 90x13x45.5mm and weighs 65g.

Neo Digits 20GB Portable Media Player

The Neo Digits 20GB portable media player features a 3.6 inch color screen with 320x240 pixel resolution.

This PVP supports the following media file formats: MPEG1/2/4, DivX, Xvid, DVD Vob file, SVCD, VCD, JPG, BMP, GIF, MP3, WMA and Ogg Vorbis.
Other features of the Neo Digits PMP are FM radio, direct MP3 encoding, remote control CFII slot and USB Host port. It measures 5x 3x0.7 inch and weighs 200g.

MSI Mega View 588 20GB Portable Video Player

The MSI Mega View 588 is a straight forward portable media player with a 20GB hard-drive and a 3.5 inch color screen.

Amazon.com sells the MSI Mega View 588 for $352.99.

DMB Tuner Add-on for Cowon A2 PMP

Cowon launched a DMB Tuner Add-on for its A2 portable media player.

The Cowon DM1 will allow users in Korea watch digital TV on their A2. As reported the Cowon A2 is also available in the USA for $449. Of course the DMB Tuner is not usable in the States, as there is no DMB broadcast.
The Cowon DM1 sells for about $120.
