AnTech 20GB Intel Xscale powered PVP
AnTech offers a portable video player running on the Intel Xscale CPU for OEM. The PVP has a cool 8.5 hour playback time. The portable video player sports a 3.5 inch Transflex TFT Touch screen with 64K Colors and a 240x320 resolution. The PVP can come with 20 or 30GB drive. Other features include USB host function, 32MB SD-Ram, mpg, .wmv, .asf, .avi video support, mp3, .wma, .wav music support, jpg, .gif, .bmp, .png photo format support, TV out and USB 2.0. Huge 8 inch Display Portable Media Player
Until now the largest screen on portable video players (PVPs) had a size of 7 inch (MobiNote DVX-POD 7010, Hauppauge pMVP, DMP-768T). Now chinese OEM Shenzhen G.Credit Electronics & Machinery Technology Ltd. is offering a PVP with 8 inch screen.
I am sure that this is somewhat the wrong feature to improve on portable media players. Rather reduce the size of the overall gadget in relation to the screen, like the new Erae Foce F3-3510. Today's PVPs are also still to heavy and all of them are to thick. They should size down to Palm PDA measurements at least.
Back to the CT-PMP800A. It supports MPEG4-DivX, AVI, MPEG2, MPEG1, MP3, WMA, WAV, JPEG formats. The hard-drive can be 20-80GB.

Erae FOCE F3-3510 5GB Slick Portable Video Player
Erae showed their new FOCE F3-3510 5GB Video player at CES 2005 (see large photo). This slick pvp is very small and light-weight and still features a 3.5 inch color screen. It can also directly record video and has a TV out. The battery live is 5 hours for video and 10 hours for audio playback. USB 2.0 interface is available for data transfer. Erae does not have a product page up yet for the FOCE F3-3510 (only the link is there).

New Mustek PVR-H140 40 GB Portable Video Player
Mustek is coming out with a 40GB rather low-cost portable video player (~$370). I4U has a video report from the CES 2005 showing off the Mustek PVR-H140.
UK stores already started to list the PVR-H140 PVP. Mustek does not have a product page up yet though.
The PVR-H140 has a bunch of cool features for the money. Besides a 3.6 inch color screen, 40GB hard-drive, USB 2.0, 6 hour battery life, SD-Card slot, direct Video encoding (MP4) it has PDA like software features. The PVR measures 3.15x1.18x4.33inch.

Archos PMA400 30GB Advanced Portable Video Player
Archos announced the new Archos PMA400 at the CES 2005. I4U has a PMA400 video report from the show floor showing the new Archos in detail.
Archos offers the PMA400 for pre-order on their site for a whopping 799.99 Euros. The new player ships on January 31st.
Archos describes the PMA400 with:
