Archos announces new generation of MP4 players -- Archos 300 series.
Archos claims the AV 300 series are the industry’s first true personal video player that can record and play back movies with stereo MP3 audio.
Sporting a high-resolution 3.8-inch (RCA lyra RD2780 screen is 3.5-inch) color LCD screen, the Video AV300 series offers video play back experience in any portable device.
The Archos 300 holds up to 80 hours of video with MP3 audio with its 20GB Hard Drive (AV320).
ARCHOS has designed the Video AV300 in a modular approach to provide add-ons to enhance the overall cinema experience. Available accessories include a 3.3 megapixel digital camcorder and camera with zoom lens, FM radio with remote control, and a selection of memory input card readers for importing photos directly into the Video AV300.

The AV320 (20GB) and the AV340 (40GB) will show up in the major electronics stores in the coming weeks. Price are set to be $569.95 and $629.95 respectively.
